You know you need chemotherapy and you’ve been educated/warned of all the side effects. Not making light of what happens during these treatments… But is it unreasonable to perhaps spin your chemo visit into a positive experience, a fun excursion and something to look forward to?
To see my friend “Rachael” take this attitude was not only surprising but inspirational. Each visit, for the entire length of her chemotherapy, she would bring an upbeat friend with her to share the latest fashion/tabloid or sports magazines, play some good ole card games and even bust out the latest fashionable nail color.
